The Britten V-1000 wheelie.
The Britten V-1000 race motorcycle was designed and built by John Britten in Christchurch, New Zealand during the early 1990s. It won the Battle of the Twins at Daytona International Speedway and set several world speed records. The bike's design included a number of unique innovations including the extensive use of carbon fiber, double wishbone front suspension and a frameless chassis. A total of 10 Britten V-1000s were produced by the Britten Motorcycle Company.
The original work is acrylic on canvas, 11x14 inches.
